Tryouts are August 16th

Club volleyball can be confusing at times. We highly recommend you educate yourself before you start. You must complete the steps below to participate in the Palmetto Region juniors program. Please note: You still have to go through this process for Kidz Power 7-12u.

1. Register and participate in club tryouts.  You will register for the club tryouts on individual clubs' website listed below this. 
2. Purchase a tryout membership. 
3. If you do not have a SportsEngine account, when you go through the steps to purchase a tryout membership you create an account. Tryout membership is $20. This is separate from the club tryout fee of $40 cash, which is brought on tryout day. 
4. If your child participated last season, you will simply log into your account.  If you can't remember the password, you can reset it using the 'forgot password' link.
5. Make sure not to use a work email account.  We suggest creating a gmail, yahoo, or other email account specific to everything volleyball.  
6. Once you commit to a club, the club will send you a membership link to upgrade your child's membership for the season. For 2025, upgrade is $45. This fee is NOT a club fee. It goes to PVA. 
7. Before attending tryouts, make sure to capture your child's USAV Palmetto tryout membership. 
8. Clubs are independent from Palmetto Region. Any questions regarding club tryouts should be directed to that specific club director.  
9. We recommend you read the region info on Tryouts. This will help you understand what questions to ask your club(s) of interest.
